Kidney Yin Deficiency

Formulas and Herbs:

  • Liang Di Tang (Sheng Di, Di Gu Pi, Xuan Shen, Mai Men Dong, E Jiao, Bai Shao) Add Er Zhi Wan (Nu Zhen Zi Add Han Lian Cao) Add Tu Si Zi, Xu Duan

Acupuncture Points:

  • HT-6
  • KI-6
  • SP-1
  • Duan Hong
  • NO Moxa

Damp-Heat

Formulas and Herbs:

  • Qing Gan Zhi Ling Tang (Dang Gui, Bai Shao, Sheng Di, E Jiao, Huai Niu Xi, Huang Bai, Mu Dan Pi, Xiang Fu, Lu Dou and sometimes Fu Ling, Yi Yi Ren for dampness)
  • Liu Wei Di Huang Wan

Modifications:

  • With heavy bleeding: Subtract Niu Xi, Mu Dan Pi
  • With Spleen Qi Deficiency: Add Huo Po
  • With Spleen Qi Deficiency with a greasy coat: Add Cang Zhu

Blood (Xue) Stagnation

Formulas and Herbs:

  • Zhu Yu Zhi Xue Tang (Da Huang, Sheng Di, Dang Gui Wei, Chi Shao, Mu Dan Pi, Zhi Ke, Gui Ban, Tao Ren)

Modifications:

  • With period: Subtract Dang Gui Wei, Add Pu Huang, San Qi, Yi Mu Cao
  • With Liver Qi Stagnation: Add Chai Hu, Chuan Lian Zi
  • With Xue Heat: Add Huang Qin, Zhi Zi, Di Yu
  • With Cold Stagnation: Add Pao Jiang, Ai Ye
  • With Qi Deficiency: Add Huang Qi
  • With lower back soreness: Add Sang Ji Sheng, Xu Duan

  • Zigong
  • SP-6,8,10
  • LIV-3
