• Meeting Point of the Bladder and Gallbladder Channels

Actions:

• Regulates the lower jiao and facilitates urination and defecation
• Regulates menstruation and stops leucorrhoea
• Benefits the lumbar region and legs

Indications:

• Low back pain, dysuria, constipation, irregular menstruation, morbid leukorrhea, prolapse of the uterus.

Pont Location:

• A Manual of Acupuncture: Over the first posterior sacral foramen.
• Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion: On the sacrum, at the midpoint between the posterosuperior iliac spine and the posterior midline, just at the first posterior sacral foramen.

Needling Method:

• Puncture perpendicularly 0.8-1.2 inches. Moxibustion is applicable.
