Actions:
- Regulates the lower jiao and facilitates urination and defecation
- Regulates menstruation and stops leucorrhoea
- Benefits the lumbar region and legs
Indications:
- Low back pain, dysuria, constipation, irregular menstruation, morbid leukorrhea, prolapse of the uterus.
Pont Location:
- A Manual of Acupuncture: Over the first posterior sacral foramen.
- Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion: On the sacrum, at the midpoint between the posterosuperior iliac spine and the posterior midline, just at the first posterior sacral foramen.
Needling Method:
- Puncture perpendicularly 0.8-1.2 inches. Moxibustion is applicable.
