Actions:

• Clears damp-heat and regulates the lower jiao
• Benefits the coccyx and treats hemorrhoids

Indications:

• Dysentery, bloody stools, diarrhea, hemorrhoids, impotence, morbid leukorrhea.

Pont Location:

• A Manual of Acupuncture: 0.5 cun lateral to the Governing vessel, level with the tip of the coccyx.
• Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion: On the sacrum, 0.5 cun lateral to the tip of the coccyx.

Needling Method:

• Puncture perpendicularly 0.5-1.0 inch. Moxibustion is applicable.
