Acupuncture Points on the Gall Bladder Channel of Foot Shao Yang

Meeting Point of the Gallbladder and Bladder Channels

Actions:

Clears Gall Bladder channel heat
Calms the spirit and pacifies fright

Indications:

Headache, epilepsy, swelling and pain of the gums, convulsion.

Pont Location:

A Manual of Acupuncture: Above the ear, in the depression 0.5 cun posterior to Shuaigu GB-8.
Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion: Directly above the posterior border of the auricle, 2 cun within the hairline, about 0.5 cun posterior to Shuaigu (GB-8).

Needling Method:

Puncture subcutaneously 0.3-0.5 inch.
