Acupuncture Points on the Gall Bladder Channel of Foot Shao Yang

Jing-Well & Metal Point

Actions:

Clears heat and benefits the head
Benefits the chest and lateral costal region
Calms the spirit

Indications:

Migraine, deafness, tinnitus, ophthalmalgia, dream-disturbed sleep, febrile diseases.

Pont Location:

A Manual of Acupuncture: On the dorsal aspect of the 4th toe, at the junction of lines drawn along the lateral border of the nail and the base of the nail, approximately 0.1 cun from the corner of the nail.
Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion: On the lateral side of the fourth toe, about 0.1 cun from the corner of the nail.

Needling Method:

Puncture superficially about 0.1 inch. Moxibustion is applicable.
