Indications:

Lotus flower tongue (sudden swelling of tongue like an inflated pig’s bladder obstructing the respiration, which can kill patient if not treated quickly), pain & swelling of the tongue, mouth ulcers, throat painful obstruction, loss of voice following windstroke. Wasting & thirsting disorder causing parched mouth, severe unremitting vomiting, nausea & vomiting of pregnancy, diarrhea.

Pont Location:

A Manual of Acupuncture: These paired points are located on the veins either side of the frenulum of the tongue, Jin Jin to the left and Yu Ye to the right.

Needling Method:

Prick to bleed.
