Where is SJ-16 located?
- A Manual of Acupuncture (p. 407): On the posterior border of the sternocleidomastoid muscle, approximately 1 cun inferior to Wangu GB-12, on a line drawn between Tianzhu BL-10 and Tianrong SI-17.
- Chinese Acupuncture and Moxibustion (p. 206-207): On the lateral side of the neck, directly below the posterior border of mastoid process, on the level of the mandibular angle, and on the posterior border of sternocleidomastoid muscle.
Puncture perpendicularly 0.3-0.5 inch. Moxibustion is applicable.
