  • Raises the Clear Yang of the Spleen Especially effective in treating diarrhea due to Summerheat, Spleen deficiency, or in recovering from Summerheat.
  • Stops Bleeding For bleeding in the Lower Jiao from heat or stagnation, and for vomiting Blood.

  • Caution when bleeding is due to cold from deficiency. This herb may counteract Sclerotium Poriae Cocos (fu ling).
